Global Hand-washing
In Singapore, startling figures show that 33% of the population do not wash their hands after going to the toilets. 54% do not wash their hands after meals. 30% do not wash their hands before meals. Lastly, 40% do not wash their hands every time with soap.
World Food Day
Bringing the issue of food depravation and hunger closer to home, community engagement activities were organised to provide channels for employees to reach out and help those who are less fortunate in our society.
Taking to the streets
The world joined together in raising awareness on the fight against hunger on 7 June in the annual “End Hunger: Walk the World event”.
