Unilever Singapore, Cornetto scores at PRWeek Awards 2015
Unilever Singapore, Cornetto scored yet another accolade for the Cornetto RED Tour with Taylor Swift at PRWeek Awards 2015, held in Hong Kong on 18 June 2015.
Clinching BRONZE for Promotional Activity of the Year, Cornetto stood amongst heavyweight regional contenders such as Earth Hour 2014, while garnering approval from a 68-strong judging panel for marketing excellence.
2015’s PRWeek Awards was hotly contested with over 600 submissions from across Asia Pacific. Now in their 14th year, PRWeek Asia Awards are unique in their efforts to celebrate the most successful campaigns in the region that are defining cutting-edge thinking and driving the public relations industry forward.
Held in 2014, Cornetto RED Tour with Taylor Swift gifted fans the opportunity to love the ride and enjoy the ending with the Limited Edition Cornetto Black Forest Red, giving them a chance to meet Taylor and collect memorabilia from her tour. Cornetto also supported local music with the Ride to Fame, providing local bands the opportunity to open for Taylor Swift’s RED Tour in Singapore, and giving them greater exposure in the local music scene.
Earlier in the year, Cornetto also took home awards for its great work integrating communications platforms both online and offline, garnering them Best PR-led Integrated Campaign (GOLD), Best Engagement for a Targeted Community (GOLD), and Best Use of Social Media (SILVER) at Marketing Magazine’s Inaugural 2015 PR Awards.
