Breeze a charity activity that has its rewards!

Orphans get playgrounds with Breeze’s Limited Edition Splat Balls for charity.

Television show host Fred Rogers once said that “Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.” Breeze, Malaysia’s number one powder detergent strongly believes in the power of play and advocates play through its brand philosophy, Dirt is Good. 

In line with this philosophy, and also with the festive spirit of giving in mind, Breeze has embarked on a charity drive to remind us that throughout this festive season, there are others who are not as fortunate to have families to celebrate with like the rest of us do, but there is something which we can do about it.

Loyal Breeze users can now look forward to do their bit to brighten up the lives of orphans at several orphanages throughout the country. In partnership with Majlis Kebajikan & Pembangunan Masyarakat Negeri Selangor (MKPMNS) and Giant Hypermarkets, Breeze would like to encourage members of the public to purchase Breeze Limited Edition Splat Balls priced at RM4.99 each to help realize this noble cause. Hot FM also lends its support for this initiative by coming on board as the official radio station.

Breeze advocates play as we believe that through playing, a child learns to become a problem solver, become more creative, more imaginative. Orphans are children too. And because life has not been a bed of roses for them, this charity drive is our way of combining the best of many worlds – the spirit of giving, advocating play as a means of learning, and let Breeze take care of the stains.”

Proceeds of the charity drive will be channelled towards a fund managed by Breeze to build safe playgrounds for selected orphanages under the MKPMNS umbrella. The Splat Balls can be purchased at any one of the 15 selected Giant outlets nationwide (see list below), and will go on sale beginning November 2nd until December 3rd.

This charity drive is the second activity carried out by Breeze this year under its CSR banner, the first event being the Breeze Skill Ball Challenge which was held earlier this year.
