Unilever launches UFLP for experienced professionals in Singapore
Unilever’s new talent development programme targeted at experienced professionals was launched today with Singapore as a pilot market.
The Unilever Future Leaders Programme Experienced Professionals (UFLP EP) offers a robust 18-to-24 month stint to give talent exposure to different roles, functions and markets in Unilever.
Unilever is looking for early career candidates with two to five years of work experience in the business development and marketing space, who will be among the first in the world to participate in this new programme.
Selected candidates will join one of Unilever’s most dynamic and fast-growing business units, Unilever International (UI), which works across the globe to bring Unilever’s well-known and loved brands such as Cif, Vaseline and Lifebuoy into untapped countries, market segments and channels – otherwise known as white spaces.
“Unilever is very excited to launch the UFLP EP as part of our internal leadership development strategy to prepare our leadership pipeline early and ensure that our talent development keeps pace with our business growth. By engaging early career professionals in the programme, we are developing future-fit talent for Unilever International and fostering global, innovative leaders for Unilever,” said Nguyen-Tam Trang, Director, Global HR Head, Unilever International and Head of HR, Unilever Asia.
The UFLP EP is built on the existing Unilever Future Leaders Programme (UFLP). Designed for fresh graduates, the UFLP is Unilever’s longstanding and highly recognised flagship talent development programme.
“Both our talent development programmes help Unilever attract talent from a wider pool, and also contribute to Unilever’s Compass goal to equip 10 million young people with essential skills by 2030. We look forward to shaping the future of work with our talents," she added.
