Thanks to the support of NUS Enterprise and unbound Media, The Unilever Foundry1 hosted its first-ever Unilever Start-up Battle. We got to witness some great work by start-ups who are disrupting the digital landscape and changing the future of web, mobile and digital technology.
During the finale, our 7 top start-ups each presented a 4-minute pitch before a panel of expert judges including Yossi Vardi, Co-Chairman, InnovFest unbound, Lily Chan, Co-Chairman, InnovFest unbound and Rahul Welde, Global VP, Digital Transformation at Unilever.
Finalist NextUser emerged victorious and walked away with a cash prize of SGD 5,000 and the opportunity to work with Unilever.
Barbara Guerpillon, Unilever Foundry Manager for Southeast Asia and Australia, said “We are very impressed with the caliber of finalists this year. With a strong ecosystem for startups in Singapore, The Unilever Foundry continues to show there is innovation and creativity all around the world and provides start-ups with the support, connections and visibility they deserve.”
A big thank you to all our participants and we look forward to seeing you next year.
