Cheer For Flood Victims On Christmas Day 261207

Responding to the government’s call for the private sector to come forward with relief and aid for victims of the flood in the East Coast, Unilever mobilised several employees and contractors to ensure a 10-tonne lorry laden with necessary relief items such as Sunsilk and CLEAR shampoo, Dove and Lux shower cream, Impulse body spray, Breeze washing powder, yummy Lady’s Choice Peanut Butter and Knorr stock cubes arrived safely.

Pahang Red Crescent Society’s Vice Chairman Tn. Hj. Yusof bin Osman who received the products from Unilever’s Area Sales Executive Mr. Tye Sze Goon on Christmas morning expressed his heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the victims. The products will be re-packed and channelled to the worst-hit areas of Pekan.

Noel Lorenzana, Unilever Chairman and Managing Director, said, “We have been following media reports on the flood situation, and it is unfortunate that the floods occurred during the festive season. We are moved by the victims’ plight and we hope that our small donation will come in useful to them.”
